MNSL’s new service expedites LCL & perishables transport to Male ex-Tuticorin Port |

| In a further affirmation of its commitment to the Tuticorin trade, the Maldives National Shipping Line (MNSL) has launched two new products—an LCL service and a perishables service to Male.
With the launch of this service, LCL cargo exporters will have the benefit of a safe and quick transit transportation facility to Male, highlighted a release.
MNSL operates an extremely successful liner-cum-feeder service, the Tuti-Colombo-Male (TCM) service, which serves the Tuticorin trade in the Tuti/Colombo as well as the Tuti/Male sectors. Over the last two years since the inception of the service, MNSL has responded to the needs of the Tuticorin trade by implementing 4 vessel capacity upgradations.
MNSL values the encouragement from the Tuticorin trade which has firmly established it as the No.1 carrier in the Tuti/Colombo sector.
Capt. Ahmed Zubair, Chairman of MNSL, along with Capt. Ahmed Maumoon, General Manager and Mr Ibrahim Rashid, Senior Manager (Marketing), were in Tuticorin recently. At a trade get-together organised during their visit, which was attended by a large number of MNSL customers as well as the Port, terminal and other authorities, Capt. Zubair emphasised the line’s commitment to the Indian trade in general and the Tuticorin trade in particular, whilst discussing its growth plans for the region in the coming months.
The trade was also appreciative of MNSL’s agent, Merchant Shipping, shifting to a new modern, larger office in town to serve customers better.
The premises was inaugurated by Capt. Zubair, in the presence of Capt. Maumoon, Mr Rashid, Ms Vinita Venkatesh, Vice-President (South India), Samsara Shipping, Capt. G. K. Sarkari, Director, Samsara Group and Mr Pradeep Kumar, Branch Manager, Merchant Shipping, Tuticorin.
