| The last date for entries/nominations for the prestigious India Shipping Summit Awards has been extended to August 22 (Friday).
Entries and nominations, in each category, will be assessed by the organisers in collaboration with Mr S. Hajara, President, Indian National Shipowners’ Association (INSA) and Chairman and Managing Director of the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI).
The awards will be presented at a gala dinner here on September 29 on the eve of the India Shipping Summit (ISS) 2008. The event, encompassing a conference and an exhibition, is scheduled to be held on September 30 and October 1 at the Grand Hyatt here.
Award categories include International Maritime Player of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Policymaker of the Year, Deal of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Infrastructure Developer of the Year and Lifetime Achievement.
