  Port of Dalian volumes up by 23.8 pc in H1

PORT of Dalian, which is the largest in northeast China, reportedly saw its container throughput grow by 23.8 per cent year-on-year to 2.15 million TEUs in the first half (January-June) of this year, representing 47.8 per cent of its annual target throughput. Overall tonnage of the cargo handled by the port rose by 12.3 per cent to 120 million tonnes, which took up 50 per cent of its annual target.
