| The Laotian Minister of Planning and Investment, Mr Soulivong Daravong, has invited Indian companies to invest in his country.
The government of Laos was considering changes in the investment laws, that would allow 100 per cent foreign equity in projects without any conditions, he told a meeting organised by industry bodies here.
Industry chambers have estimated that there is ample opportunity for Indian companies to invest in drugs, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, fertilisers, hydrocarbons, food processing and two-wheeler business. |
