MSC to launch revamped North & Central Asia-Australia service |

| MEDITERRANEAN Shipping Company (MSC) has announced that its services linking North and Central Asia with Australia will be upgraded from mid-October.
The move will create a new service called New Wallaby and will incorporate the existing Panda service that ceases operations at the same time, a company statement said.
The New Wallaby service will deploy 10 vessels on the following port rotation: Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Busan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Chiwan, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Sydney, Melbourne, Fremantle, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Fremantle, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Yokohama.
MSC said it will participate only on the leg from North and Central Asia to Australia and back.
"This New Wallaby service will provide greater reliability and excellent transit times to the main markets in the Asia/Australia trade", the release added. |
