Tariff cuts for Gambia, Burkina Faso |
|
26/03/2009 |
| The Union government has extended tariff concessions to Burkina Faso and Gambia, the two least developed countries (LDCs), to gain access to their respective markets, a Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) notification said.
The government reduced the import duties on "goods of interest" to these nations without seeking reciprocity as per the unilateral tariff concessions programme for LDCs announced last year. |
